Job Description

• Liaisoning with external legal counsel on documentation and administrative matters as well as on various lawsuit issues.

• Monitors legislation and keeps the legal team abreast of the evolution of pertinent bills.

• Maintains all legal files (electronic and paper copy).

• Schedule and make appointments.

• Should have thorough knowledge of contract/agreement drafting

• Well versed with Legal Software – Manupatra, SSC Online

• Monitoring and handling litigations under various laws.

• Advising Management on legal issues related to business activities.

• Providing variety of transactional and documentation support on legal issues in the business functions.

• Providing legal support to various business functions.         

• Communicate and negotiate with external parties (e.g. regulators / local authorities, external counsel, Banks, NBFC, etc.) and adhere to deadlines about these relationships
