Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement for interior design materials, furniture, and architectural products.
- Source materials from reliable suppliers and vendors to meet project requirements.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery timelines, and supplier agreements.
- Collaborate with design and project teams to ensure material specifications and timely deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking with suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance to meet quality standards and project deadlines.
- Manage vendor relationships and maintain an updated supplier database.
- Ensure purchases comply with company standards and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with the company’s CA and handle basic accounting tasks related to procurement.
Required Skills:
- 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in architecture, interior design, furniture, or construction industries.
- Basic knowledge of accounting to coordinate with the company's CA.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Familiarity with materials used in architecture and interior design projects.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and procurement software.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- Prior experience in architecture, interior design, furniture, or construction industries is a must.
- Basic knowledge of accounting procedures.
