  • Identification of all requirements in requisition for purchase issued by Design Department.
  • Maintaining BOQ, Receiving the price quotations, preparing comparison, arranging technical meetings, Commercial Negotiation, Awarding contract & Documentation.
  • Establish delivery terms, time and stages of inspection for the supply with Project Management Team.
  • Negotiate the best payment terms and contract conditions, maintaining high level of integrity.
  • Keep accurate records to justify the process and any other related decisions made in this regard.
  • Tracking and expediting of Shipment, Handle Delivery and inspection of items. Assist in Insurance claims, if any.
  • Co-ordinates with Stores and QA for receipt and quality clearance of material.
  • Co-ordinates with Engineering for drawing clarification / material specification.
  • Client acceptance/rejection, warranties and other related follow up matters with the supplier till completion of Project.
  • Vendor Development - existing vendor for new items / new vendor for new /existing items
  • Assist Tendering and Costing Department as required.
  • Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets.
  • Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions
